Windows in different rooms serve different purposes so we’ve gone through each room and come up with a solution. For windows facing the street, you should go for shutters as they provide privacy as well as light; in a kitchen or bathroom, coverings have to be water-resistant so water-resistant blinds work but vinyl shutters provide a long-term solution; for bedrooms, blackout properties are crucial and so blinds are more fitting although ‘hybrid’ shutter blinds also exist and are equally effective.
